This little Chunk of Love is my new little man...MASON TJ! He was born on May 28th weighing 7 lbs 12 oz. (he has done very well in the weight gaining department ;)) We are so happy he is here and I am fully enjoying this newborn stage. Knowing all too well, how fast it goes! He is already easy going, I guess that's just part of being baby#4, I suppose he has no other choice but to be! :)

My Mollie's 8! | Willis, Conroe, The Woodlands Photographer

Mollie came to me and asked "MOM are you EVER gonna take my Eight Year old Pictures?"
This was after the purchase of her new boots!
She HAD to have them because we live in the "country" now! :) (I think that's so cute!)
So... I don't know if this shoot was more about her turning 8 or her new boots?
Either way, I think it's great she wants me to take her picture because I could take her picture all day long!
I think she's SO Pretty!
Oh... how I LOVE her!

A New Location | Conroe, The Woodlands, Willis Photographer

Here are some new pictures from A New Location! About two weeks ago I (Jodie) moved up to Willis TX on Lake Conroe. We really weren't looking to move from Sugar Land but this house grabbed our hearts and we listened. We really love it up here and are very excited to make this place a home! Maggie and I will still work as a team! We may not both be at all photo shoots together but hopefully will be meeting in the middle often! We will also share this website and blog just like usual and will be there to support and help each other!
I am very excited to explore and find great shooting locations up here North of Houston, as of right now I'm Loving the Lake! That will take a while to get old ;)!

Sun Flare

I almost didn't see the theme for the photo contest this week over at I Heart Faces. Wheww so glad I did because I've been needing an excuse to show off this picture. I don't think sun flare is very easy to capture especially not by accident (I get flare a lot by accident) but this photo I was actually trying to get it and I'll just say it took a few pics to get it:). I just thought this moment needed it...you know because Pirates like to fight at sundown right??

New Chair

I found this chair on our way to the beach. I've been looking for a chair to use in pictures for sometime and when I saw this one I didn't want to pass it up. I think it just may be perfect, especially when you stick in a field with a super cute little girl on it. :)

Hmmmm..."what to do today?"The stresses of a child. I love this picture, lately Mr. Shark & Mr. Alligator have been in a lot of photos. This week over at I Heart Faces the theme is Contemplative.. Olivers 2009| Sugar Land family Photgrapher

Well it has been almost 4 years (yes before Hayden was born) since the last time we actually did a "Planned Family Picture". I know... I guess its one of those things, like when your married to a carpenter and nothing gets fixed around your own house, kinda things. Now by all means we are not short on pictures of the kids or even Bill and the kids but definitely short of me and the kids:). So for my birthday this year this was my family's present to me. To tolerate a family photo shoot, that I was going to do. I wanted to try and see if I could just do it myself with the camera on the tri-pod. Well needless to say it was not super easy, the kids really didn't find the blinking red light super amusing(like I normally am-ha:)) So next time I think Maggie will have the honor but I think I pulled it off enough to at least put a couple on my walls.:) I actually LOVE this first one, I'm not even sure what the kids were doing but it works:)!!
oh and I don't know about you but I find this location AMAZING! I'm so in love with it. So if your family is not afraid of trains we would love to take you here!!!

Start thinking about Christmas...we will have our Holiday packages up soon!!!!Thanks for looking,

Nostalgia | Sugar Land Photographer

I know... you can barely see his Face. But I just had to enter this photo into the I Heart Faces challenge this week. See the theme this week is nostalgia! I must admit( I had to look the big word up) and I really had no idea of what I would do for this picture. So what I did instead of taking a new picture is I went through my archives. I would have never really thought I would find so many! I must as a mom photographer really gravitate toward taking pictures of my kids doing things that I loved as a child! Seeing your children enjoying there childhood like you remember yours is just simply Awesome!
This picture says a Million Words to me...and if I start typing I'll start sobbing because this little man started kindergarten today, and I'm having issues dealing with that:). So I won't bore you with what I think it means but I will let you decide how it makes you feel!

Beach Days| Sugar Land TX Photography

This beach theme was fun for me cause I have A LOT of beach pictures. Most from Oregon and now some new ones in Texas. I probably spent an hour just looking through all my old and new pictures until I stumbled on this one. Taken in Oregon right before we moved. It makes my heart jump so I knew I had to pick this one. He's such a good Dad and so very strong too:)!

Haydens 3 | Sugar Land TX Photographer

Hayden turned Three yesterday so we had a mini celebration with one and only (including family-of course)very special little friend!:)

Yep! Miss Caroline was the the honored guest at the party! They were so cute! I'm sure in the future Caroline might have something to say about Hayden's wardrobe...

But for right now she thinks he's pretty Cool and funny too. :)

Here are just a few of my most handsome dude. Who... by the way, looks insanely just like his Dad. Nolan turned 6 in June and starts kindergarten this year! Nolan is such a good kid it's ridiculous and I can't say enough great things about him. But I can say just how crazy proud of him I am.
