My Tiny New Love | Sugar Land Newborn Photographer

Lucy Margaret Singleton was welcomed into this world and our hearts on August 21, 2012 at 9:13 am, weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces.  We are all totally in love with this sweet baby girl who has so wonderfully completed our family.  At five weeks, she is already growing too quickly for my liking.  I would love for her to stay this small forever.  Her siblings give her constant love and attention...she fits right in with our crazy crew!  Be on the lookout for more pictures of Lucy as she grows and changes...it happens all too soon!

Second Grade

Big boy, Grayson has started Second Grade. Seems like just yesterday I was taking him for his first day of preschool. Wish I could slow down time for a little bit...this fun and crazy life passes by WAY TOO QUICKLY!!

Ellie is Three!

My Baby girl turned three last week...so very hard to me to believe! She's spunky, determined, stubborn, funny and sweet all at the same time. She has a very BIG personality for such a little person and is loved so very, very much!!

Bitty Ballerina | Sugar Land Child Photographer

Caroline's ballet recital is in just a couple of weeks. Her studio had pictures on Saturday morning and I couldn't resist taking a few of my own in our backyard. She loves dancing and getting to dress up in a fancy costume and wear a little bit of make-up. These pictures are so "her"...LOVE my bitty ballerina!

Father/Daughter Dance | Sugar Land Children's Photographer

Caroline and Ellie both attended our church's annual Father/Daughter Dance this past weekend with my husband. Aren't they adorable?!? They were both so excited to go and Caroline exclaimed just before leaving "this is the best night of my life"! Once the actually made it to the dance, Caroline stood around with her fingers in her ears because the music was too loud for her liking and Ellie wouldn't let Alan put her down. So maybe they are a little young to truly enjoy it yet, but it makes for great memories. I think this is such a special thing for them to do each year!

A Confession

I have a confession to make...photography isn't my only passion...I love to sew! I learned to sew in high school and have been creating things for our house for years. It wasn't until I had little girls that I branched out into clothes. I adore fabrics and textures and can't resist girly patterns. Here is a small sampling of what I've been doing lately. This post would be way too big if I included all of my creations! Perhaps we could outfit your little ones and photograph them...just a thought!

Big Girl Bed!

Caroline has been asking for a "big girl bed" for months now. I bought a matching set of twin beds at an antique shop in early January, but then they had to be sanded and painted and antiqued...she has been so patient! We finally had everything ready to go a couple of weeks ago and she was so very excited to spend her first night in her new bed. As I was reading her a story that first night, she looked at me with the most loving look in her eyes and said softly, "Mommy, thank you for getting me my new big girl bed". It melted my heart! Here are a few pictures taken on her new bed...she's so proud!

Caroline is Three!!

My little girl turned three back in November and I just now found the time to take her "Three year pictures". I guess it's like the cobbler's kids and their lack of shoes, right? I love the way these turned out. They really show her sassy and ultra girly personality. We love her so much and can't believe it's been over three years since we welcomed our first little girl into our family!

Grayson's Growing Up

Oh dear!!! My favorite little boy in the whole wide world isn't so little anymore! My Grayson started kindergarten last month and all of a sudden seems so much older! He is loving school and thinks it is so cool that he goes to the "big" school now! I am dealing with the fact that I now have a school-age child...seriously, where have these past five and a half years gone??? Here are some shots from a special photo shoot I did just for him...

Ellie turns One...

So our sweetest baby girl, Elouise Claire, turned One this week. It was a very bittersweet day for me, as I cannot believe just how quickly this year flew by! I really tried to cherish every precious moment of her baby days...I wish I could freeze her just the way she is! She loves cheese, yogurt and blueberries...dances everytime she hears music... has the most beautiful toothless grin I've ever seen and is so loved and adored by her entire family! Happy Birthday Baby Ellie!!
